As we begin to look ahead to 2019, we are looking to hire another reporter to cover the politics, policy conversations and personalities of Washington State.

This reporter will be based in Olympia, and join Emily Boerger and Marjie High on our team as our capital reporting crew.

All told, during the 2019 legislative session, we’ll average 1.75 FTE reporters based in Olympia full time.

The Morning Wire: Keeping you informed on politics, policies, and personalities of Washington State.

That means that the Washington State Wire will have one of the largest capital press corps in Olympia in 2019.  That’s the manifestation of our commitment to smart, concise and diverse reporting of our state politics.
