A Rally for Patient Rights

Unsure of what the passage of I-502 means for medical marijuana patients? The latest recommendations from the Washington State Liquor Control Board suggest that patients could be required to see their doctors for reevaluation and to purchase their prescribed pot from a recreational store (under the current law they can often grow their own).

To discuss the possibilities and the protection of patients’ rights, join Hempfest at Town Hall. Speakers include State Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles (D-36, Ballard), Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes, Dale Rogers of the Cannabis Research Collective, and many more.

Medical Marijuana: A Rally for Patients Rights, Sat, December 21, 2–4pm, Town Hall (Great Hall, enter on Eighth Ave), 1119 Eighth Ave, free.
