PDC Members Ignore Their Staff And Follow Pelz’s Order

It is a sad day for the PDC as reported here by Erik Smith. Dwight Pelz, head commanding general of the state D party called for the commission to ignore the lengthy, and careful staff investigation findings of the Americans for Prosperity case and keep looking. The commission has shamed itself in responding to the call and is requesting more information. They have become an answer looking for a question.

It may be a coincidence that they are doing exactly what Pelz has asked them to do. Oh Lord we hope so. I knew my longtime friend Pelz had a lot of pull with the three-decade dynasty of D’s in Olympia but wow Dwight, this gives me goose bumps.

It’s been a sad week. The Legislature is looking at a skinny list of cuts as they blow through $3 grand a piece in per diem for their special session, the PDC caves to the chair of a political party, and the Browns lost to Pittsburgh tonight. As Newt told us, this ain’t the good old America we used to know.
