Sen. Bob McCaslin, R-Spokane Valley
OLYMPIA, May 18.–Sen. Bob McCaslin, R-Spokane Valley, was admitted to Valley General Medical Center on Wednesday, May 12, for treatment of a serious infection. His condition is improving.
McCaslin is recovering from a recent aortic valve replacement surgery and a complication related to his white blood cells, which protect against infection.
The McCaslin family has expressed gratitude for the prayers and well-wishes of friends, colleagues, constituents and members of the news media, but has asked that the Senate and the public respect this as a private family matter for the time being.
