10th Congressional District Candidate Debate: Full Video and Highlights

Last night, six candidates running for Congress in Washington 10th District convened virtually for a 90 minute debate on climate and environmental policy, economic policy, social justice, and the nature of their campaigns.

The candidates were selected based on their fundraising totals reported in the most recent FEC reports available at the time invitations were sent out.

The candidates who reported the six highest totals in their April Quarterly reports were Kristine Reeves, Marilyn Strickland, Beth Doglio, Joshua Collins, Phil Gardner, and Nancy Slotnick.

During the debate, all of the candidates expanded on their policy platforms and discussed their differences on issues related to campaign finance, experience, and legislative strategy.

The debate was hosted jointly by the Washington State Wire and the Nature Conservancy in Washington State.

Due to the retirement of incumbent Denny Heck, the 10th District seat is one of six open Democratic seats in the fall.

A video of the full debate is available above and at this link.
