On Tuesday the 35th annual March for Life and Rally was held at the Capitol.  The turnout was extraordinary, one of the larger demonstrations in the last few years.

A number of legislators spoke to the crowd, urging support for legislation like Senate Bill 5156 that requires pre-notification of parents before an abortion.  Because of the new leadership arrangement in the State Senate, the bill may actually get a public hearing this year in the Senate Committee on Law & Justice.
